New Work → This body of work explores contemporary masculinity through the cultural figures and myths that continue to shape it. The paintings focus on moments of pause rather than triumph, where spectacle gives way to stillness and posture begins to feel strained. Archetypes of strength appear slightly off-balance, exaggerated, or exposed, their authority softened by humor and distortion. Rather than celebrating or condemning these models, the work holds them in suspension, examining what remains when inherited ideas of power start to falter and endurance becomes the dominant gesture.
